Frequently Asked Questions
Notarization is the process whereby a Notary certifies a document. Usually, this is done by attaching a notarial certificate to the document. The notarial certificate contains statements of fact or law concerning the notarized document. The primary job of a notary is to prevent fraud by verifying the person/s signing.
The cost will depend on the document being certified and exactly what the notary is required to do. Before your appointment, we will discuss your document requirements to provide you with an accurate fee quote.

Short answer, Yes!
Although we can usually accommodate last-minute requests, booking an appointment in advance is preferable to ensure that we will be available to see you. This also allows us to ensure we have all necessary documents in advance and that the appointment is as brief as possible for you.

One of the Notary’s fundamental duties is correctly identifying the person present. Our practice rules and government legislation lay down this requirement. A government-issued ID with a picture and signature is required.
Notaries who are not attorneys are prohibited from giving legal advice they aren't qualified to provide. This is referred to as the unauthorized practice of law.
This will stand true for any Notary with Las Vegas Notary as we aren't attorneys and cannot prepare your documents.
Since we work with many attorneys, we may know an attorney that can assist you with your documents at their practice location.
